THE gIVING tREE

The Giving Tree is a Kinetic sculpture that harness wind energy to generate electricity to provide a light in Flushing Meadow Corona Park during night. It also give away to the park goers who want to charge their phones and other electronic gadgets during daytime. It was constructed by locally collected and donated recycling materials. Giving Tree project is meant to bring more attention to green energy and upcycling activity in the Queens community and NYC community. Lighting the Park and freely sharing the green energy to anyone who wants are symbolic actions to spread the altruism that we need to save our planet, our home. ​
